Press reports have revealed that Inter Milan has identified Tottenham Hotspur's goalkeeper, Guglielmo Vicario, as one of its main targets for the upcoming summer transfer window. This comes after recent developments in his participation with his team in the match against Atletico Madrid in the UEFA Champions League.

According to "Football Italia," coach Igor Tudor decided to exclude Vicario from the starting lineup for the match, preferring to rely on goalkeeper Antonin Kinsky. However, early mistakes by the 22-year-old young goalkeeper prompted the coaching staff to bring in Vicario just 17 minutes into the game.

The report indicated that Inter Milan has already started talks with the Italian goalkeeper's entourage, having identified him as their main target to strengthen the goalkeeper position starting from the 2026/2027 season, with additional meetings expected with the player's representatives in the coming period.

According to "La Gazzetta dello Sport," Vicario wishes to return to Italy during the summer, and the way coach Tudor handled him in the match against Atletico Madrid has increased his desire to leave. He especially expected to start in the game held at Wanda Metropolitano, believing that his status within the team would be respected.

The newspaper added that Juventus and Monaco are also monitoring the situation of the Italian goalkeeper, while Inter considers Real Madrid's goalkeeper, Andriy Lunin, as an alternative option in case they need to find a successor for goalkeeper Yann Sommer.

Vicario's price at Tottenham is estimated at around 20 million, but this figure may decrease if the team is relegated from the Premier League, especially since the London club is only one point away from the relegation zone and has lost its first four matches under the leadership of its new coach Igor Tudor.
