Saturday 07-03-2026
Mohamed Salama, the president of Al-Ittihad Alexandria Football Club, announced the resolution of the club's registration suspension issue.

The international federation announced today, Saturday, March 7, the suspension of Al Ittihad Alexandria's registration for three registration periods starting from today, Saturday.

Mohamed Salama, the president of Al-Ittihad Alexandria Club, stated in a press release: "The registration ban imposed on the club by the international federation has ended some time ago, after the club's management fully paid the dues of a foreign player months ago."

He added, "The club's management has already completed the financial procedures concerning the player, and the official settlement will be submitted to the International Federation in the coming hours, paving the way for the lifting of the registration ban permanently."

He continued: "The value of the dues that were in dispute is extremely minimal, and the issue was almost entirely resolved a few days ago. However, the levels of litigation in FIFA cause the registration ban to appear on the official website."

He concluded his statements: "All that remains is to complete the usual administrative procedures within FIFA to approve the settlement and officially lift the sanction to ensure the club's stability."
