Juventus Nearing Renewal of Vlahović's Contract After Barcelona's Decision
Friday 06-03-2026
Reports from the newspaper "Calcio Mercato" indicate that Juventus is close to reaching an agreement with their Serbian striker Dusan Vlahovic to renew his contract, while Barcelona does not see him as the primary option to replace the departing Polish striker Robert Lewandowski next season.

Juventus hopes to extend Vlahović's contract with the club after his current contract at Allianz Stadium expires next June. The management aims to offer a deal ranging between 6 and 7 million euros annually, compared to his current salary of 12 million euros, including bonuses, in the final year of his contract.

The source indicated that the player has not yet signed with any other club, while his agent offered his services to Barcelona. However, the Catalan club does not consider him the primary option at the moment, according to journalist "Matteo Moretto."

Vlahovic has been absent for more than three months following surgery in December 2025, but he managed to score six goals and provide two assists in 17 matches across all competitions this season.

This direction confirms that Juventus is determined to keep their Serbian striker within the team to ensure the continuity of their offensive strength, while Barcelona continues to search for alternative options to compensate for Lewandowski's departure in the upcoming season.
