Al-Qadisiyah officials are racing against time to secure midfielder Mohammed Abu Al-Shamat, aiming to close the door on Al-Hilal's interest in signing him during the upcoming summer transfer window.

During the last winter transfer window, Al Hilal attempted to sign Abu Al-Shamat, but the management of Al-Qadisiyah refused to let him go, insisting on keeping him as one of the team's key players.

The Qadisiyah management is currently working to secure the player's continued stay for a longer period by offering a new deal that includes extending his contract for an additional two seasons with a clear improvement in financial terms.

The club officials aim with this step to extend Abu Al-Shamat's association until 2031, even though his current contract is still valid until 2029.

The player, in turn, aspires to secure a new financial agreement that grants him an annual salary of approximately 15 million riyals, in addition to incentives and bonuses linked to his level and performance on the field.

Abu Al-Shamat is having a remarkable season with Al-Qadsia, having participated in 26 matches across all competitions, during which he scored one goal and provided seven assists.

The player has attracted the interest of several prominent clubs in the Saudi Roshn League, following the strong performances he has delivered this season.
