Bayern Munich's Negotiations with Laimer Stumble Due to Financial Demands
Tuesday 03-03-2026
Negotiations to renew the contract of Austrian Konrad Laimer with Bayern Munich have stalled due to a significant gap between the two parties regarding the annual salary. According to reports, the talks are currently frozen due to the disagreement over the financial value of the new contract.

Laimer, who currently earns more than 10 million euros in total per season, is seeking a significant increase in his next contract. According to journalist Florian Plettenberg, the player's representatives are demanding a salary that clearly exceeds 15 million euros annually in exchange for agreeing to an extension.

The player's camp bases its demands on the salary policy within the Bavarian club, especially since Laimer is represented by the same agency that manages the affairs of Serge Gnabry and Leon Goretzka, who are among the high earners in the team.

On the other hand, Bayern has not yet shown its willingness to reach the required figures, leaving Laimer's future with the team open to all possibilities if the stalemate continues in the coming period.
