Monday 02-03-2026
The Union regained the services of two important players before facing Al-Ahli in the twenty-fifth round of the Saudi Roshan League.

The team's training on Sunday evening saw the participation of Ahmed Al-Julaidan and Saleh Al-Shehri, after they recovered from injuries that had kept them out of recent matches.

The return of the duo is considered a significant morale boost for the coaching staff led by the Portuguese Conceição, given the importance of the upcoming match in terms of standings.

This season, Al-Julaidan played 23 matches for Al-Ittihad, totaling 843 minutes without scoring or assisting. Meanwhile, Al-Shahri participated in 19 matches, scoring four goals and providing one assist in 514 minutes.

The Union will visit Al-Ahli at 10 PM next Friday in an anticipated match as part of the 25th round of competitions.

Al-Ittihad enters the match in fifth place with 42 points, while Al-Ahli holds the second position with 59 points, giving the derby a special competitive edge.
