Spalletti: I Believe We Will Have a Great Season Finish, and the Fans Helped Us a Lot

Luciano Spalletti, the coach of Juventus, expressed mixed feelings following the 3-3 draw against Roma in the Italian league, affirming his team's commitment to the dream of qualifying for the Champions League and emphasizing his belief in the Bianconeri's ability to finish the season strongly.

Spalletti said: "If we're talking about the reaction, then yes, I'm happy, but if we look at the first season, I'm not very happy."

He continued: "We must evaluate things objectively. We exited the Champions League in that manner after playing 120 minutes and bringing the match back on track after it had become extremely challenging."

He added, "We were also too slow on the second and third goals. The players believed and fought to come back, but we put ourselves in this position as well."

The Juventus coach pointed out that the two comeback goals were scored by substitute players, and that the final free kick was also taken by another substitute, reflecting the impact of the bench in the match.

Regarding his confidence in the ability to turn the result around through changes, Spalletti said: "When you are 66 years old like me, you realize that you always believe, and this is what you must convey to the players."

He added: "There are bursts of enthusiasm created from moments of quality. Boga has intuition and can create situations out of nothing, as can Kenan Yildiz and Zhegrova. We must always have faith, both in sports and in life."

Spalletti addressed the impact of match pressure, saying: "In the last five matches, we played with ten players in three of them, and this tires you out even more."

He continued: "You can try to find the right words to boost their confidence, but at this moment, the fans also helped us, and when they are behind us, the jersey feels a little lighter on their shoulders."

He concluded his remarks by saying: "We went through a period where the pressure was immense on us, and we were also not fortunate, but this team has developed significantly in many aspects. I believe we will deliver a fantastic final part of the season."
