Olympic Safi and Wydad Athletic Club are preparing to undertake a challenge that is both athletic and financial, following the announcement by the Confederation of African Football to increase the prize money for the CAF Confederation Cup for the 2025-2026 season.

According to the new decision, the team crowned with the title will receive 4 million dollars, while the runner-up will get 1 million dollars, in a move that enhances the value of the competition and provides clubs with an additional incentive to advance further in the tournament.

The quarter-final draw placed the two teams in a direct confrontation, with the first leg taking place in the city of Safi, and the return leg hosted at the Mohammed V Stadium in Casablanca. This all-Moroccan clash is expected to witness strong competition.
