Shobeir said on Facebook: "Regarding the penalty for Al Ahly and the Royal Army, I have two surprises. My information is that a hearing will take place. He continued: "I am drawing Al Ahly club's attention to the possibility, or even likelihood, of a breach of regulations. The regulations state one or two matches without spectators with a suspended sentence. However, my information, and I hope it's wrong, is that Motsepe wants to create a balance, just as the Royal Army's fans were banned, to also ban Al Ahly's fans."

He added, "I'm warning you now, the information might not be accurate, and he wants to balance it, and there's always some kind of delay. I hope Al Ahly keeps its eyes wide open, as there's a possibility of deviating from the regulations."
