Paris Saint-Germain Qualifies for Champions League Round of 16 at Monaco's Expense

Paris Saint-Germain secured its qualification to the Round of 16 of the UEFA Champions League after drawing 2-2 with Monaco in the return leg of the qualifying playoff, in a match held at Parc des Princes.

Monaco opened the scoring in the 45th minute through Magnus Akliouche, ending the first half with a 1-0 lead. In the 59th minute, Monaco's Mamadou Coulibaly was sent off after receiving a second yellow card, leaving his team to play with ten men.

Paris Saint-Germain quickly capitalized on the numerical advantage, with Marquinhos equalizing in the 60th minute. Khvicha Kvaratskhelia then added a second goal in the 66th minute, giving his team the lead.

In the 90+1 minute, Jordan Teze scored an equalizer for Monaco, ending the match in a 2-2 draw.

The first leg had ended with a 3-2 victory for Paris Saint-Germain, securing the team's qualification with an aggregate score of 5-4.

With this result, Paris Saint-Germain officially advances to the Round of 16 of the UEFA Champions League, continuing its journey in the continental competition.
