Real Madrid's Spanish international star Raul Asensio suffered a severe injury during his team's match against Benfica, in the second leg of the play-off qualifying for the Champions League round of 16, at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium.

The player fell to the ground following an aerial collision with his teammate Eduardo Camavinga, which necessitated a quick intervention from the medical staff, after it was clear that he was unable to get up due to the injury.
