Pellegrini Outshines Arbeloa: Best Coach in La Liga for February
Chilean coach Manuel Pellegrini was selected as the best coach in La Liga EA Sports for February, after leading his team, Real Betis, to an unbeaten month, securing three wins and one draw.
Betis began February with a 2-1 home victory over Valencia, followed by consecutive away wins against Atletico Madrid 1-0 and Real Mallorca 2-1, before drawing 1-1 with Rayo Vallecano at La Cartuja.
This strong performance solidified the team's position in fifth place with 42 points.
This is the first time Pellegrini has received the best coach award this season, having surpassed both Alvaro Arbeloa (Real Madrid) and Jose Bordalas (Getafe) in the voting.
The Chilean coach is in his sixth season with Real Betis, having successfully led the team to European competitions in the previous five seasons, in addition to winning the King's Cup in 2022.
