Three players are close to leaving Al Ahly club at the end of the current season, as their contracts are expiring and no final agreement has been reached regarding renewal, according to the Egyptian newspaper "Al-Watan."

The trio consists of Hussein El Shahat, Ahmed Nabil Kouka, and the Malian Aliou Dieng. Al Ahly's management has entered into negotiations with the players in recent times, but the discussions have not yet been finalized.

Reports indicated that Dieng's departure has become more likely, as the player wishes to embark on a new professional experience after spending years at the Red Castle, while Kouka leans towards a European venture, which complicates his chances of staying.

As for Hussein El Shahat's situation, it remains unresolved, as the player is awaiting an improved financial offer from Al Ahly's management to settle the renewal issue, while the management is striving to maintain the core squad before the start of the new season.
