Akram Tawfik Wishes to Return to Al-Ahly
The former president of Smouha Club, Engineer Farag Amer, revealed that Akram Tawfik, the current player for Al-Shamal in Qatar and former Al-Ahly player in Egypt, wishes to return to the ranks of the Red team.
Farag Amer stated on his Facebook page: "Akram Tawfik, the player for Al-Shamal in Qatar, who left Al-Ahly last season without a transfer fee, has informed his Qatari club of his desire to return to Al-Ahly at the beginning of the next season."
He continued: "The officials of Al-Shamal in Qatar showed no objection to his return to Al-Ahly, provided that Al-Ahly officials contact them and express their desire for Akram Tawfik to return to Al-Ahly."
Al Ahly is preparing to face Ceramica Cleopatra next Tuesday in the first round of the decisive stage for the Egyptian Premier League title.
