The coaching staff of Al-Ahli team, led by German Matthias Jaissle, is monitoring the situation of Turkish defender Merih Demiral in preparation for his return to lead the defense line in upcoming matches, ahead of the postponed match against Damac in the tenth round of the Saudi Pro League.

According to the Saudi newspaper "Al-Riyadiyah," Demiral has reached an advanced stage in his rehabilitation program following his injury, with his final status to be decided during the last training sessions before the team's departure to Abha.

Al-Ahli will conduct only two training sessions on Saturday and Sunday before heading to Abha city on a private plane in preparation for the anticipated match, as the coaching staff aims to prepare the key players in the best possible way.

The Al-Ahli players had a rest day on Friday following their significant 4-1 victory over Al-Najma in the 23rd round. "The Noble" team is set to visit Damac on Monday evening at ten o'clock, at Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz Sports City Stadium.
