Al-Ahly achieved an exciting 2-1 victory over Japan's Vissel Kobe, securing their spot in the Asian Champions League elite final for the second consecutive season, following a strong match held at the Al-Inma Stadium in Jeddah.

The Japanese team opened the scoring through Yoshinori Muto in the 31st minute, before Al Ahly made a strong comeback in the second half and turned the tables with a decisive double.

The Brazilian Wenderson Galeno scored the equalizer with a long-range shot in the 62nd minute, before the Englishman Ivan Toney gave his team the lead in the 71st minute after capitalizing on a defensive error.

The first half witnessed exchanged attempts, with Al-Ahly nearly scoring on several occasions, but the brilliance of the Japanese goalkeeper prevented that, while Vissel Kobe missed opportunities to extend their lead.

In the second half, Al-Ahly asserted its dominance and continued its offensive pressure until it managed to equalize, then snatched the winning goal, taking advantage of clear defensive confusion.

Al-Ahly awaits the winner of the match between Japan's Machida and the UAE's Shabab Al-Ahli in the final, in a new battle for the continental title.
