The Portuguese Luis Figo spoke about the highlights of his football career, recalling the controversial incident of his return to Camp Nou in November 2002, after his transfer from Barcelona to Real Madrid in the summer of 2000, as well as his assessment of the Brazilian Ronaldo as an exceptional player.

Figo said, "Of course, I was the center of attention because of what happened with my transfer from Barcelona to Real Madrid, but the atmosphere wasn't comfortable for the rest of the team; it wasn't a good environment for playing football."

He continued: "We had to stop playing and start over; the field was full of things. It's history, you know? But all of that was stirred up by the press in Barcelona."

He added: "When I left Barcelona for Madrid, I was surprised by what happened. The snowball started to grow, and there was no turning back."

Figo also revealed his options before moving to Inter Milan: "Before choosing to move to Inter, I could have joined Liverpool, but my choice was based on emotional attachment. As for Manchester United? No, the opportunity never materialized, neither with United nor with City."

On another note, Figo gave his assessment of Brazilian Ronaldo, saying: "During that period, he was a star and pure talent. He didn't need training because he was far superior to everyone else. His physical abilities changed due to injuries, but the quality remained when he moved to Real Madrid. For me, he is the best global scorer I have ever seen."
