Thursday 19-02-2026
Juventus and Inter Milan have entered into direct competition to sign Italian goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario, the Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper, according to journalist Fabrizio Romano.

The 29-year-old goalkeeper is considered one of the most prominent names on the table for Italian clubs in the upcoming period.

Vicario is under contract with Tottenham until June 2028, and his current market value is approximately 30 million euros according to the "Transfermarkt" website. He became the team's main goalkeeper since his move in the summer of 2023 to replace the Frenchman Hugo Lloris, and he has delivered strong performances in the English Premier League.

Inter Milan is interested in the Italian goalkeeper as part of its plan to find a long-term replacement for the Swiss goalkeeper Yann Sommer, while Juventus is monitoring his situation amid uncertainty about the future of the team's goalkeeping, which might prompt the club to act if a suitable opportunity arises to sign him.

Vicario has extensive experience in the Italian league, having previously played for clubs such as Empoli and Venezia, and also played for Perugia. He has also participated with the Italian national team on several international occasions, making him an attractive option for both Italian giants in the upcoming summer transfer market.
