Dr. Ahmed Gaballah, the doctor for Al Ahly of Egypt, announced that Amr El-Gazzar's absence from the team's lineup for the match against El Gouna is due to a muscle strain in his right adductor muscle.

The Al-Ahly doctor explained that the player complained of pain before the training session, leading to medical examinations that confirmed he needed rest. This prompted the coaching staff to exclude him from group training and initiate a treatment and rehabilitation program in preparation for his return in the coming period.

The Al Ahly squad for the match included the following goalkeepers: Mohamed El Shenawy, Mostafa Shobeir, and Hamza Alaa.
