The newspaper "Youm7" reported that Al-Ahly coach Jes Torup decided to start goalkeeper Mohamed El-Shenawy in the match against El-Gouna in the league.
Al Ahly will face El Gouna next Thursday in the 18th round of the Egyptian Premier League.
The newspaper clarified that the coaching staff is implementing a rotation principle between Mohamed El-Shenawy and Mostafa Shobeir, with each goalkeeper playing a match alternately.
El-Shenawy did not participate in the match against AS FAR on Sunday in the CAF Champions League, and Mostafa Shobeir played in his place.
