The Norwegian full-back Julian Ryerson continues to deliver an impressive performance with Borussia Dortmund, having become one of the key pillars of the team, with a continuous rise in his market value, according to the Spanish newspaper 'Sport'.

Ryerson, aged 28, is distinguished by his ability to play on both the right and left sides of the defense, and he significantly contributes to the attack, making him the target of interest from several major European clubs, including Barcelona.

Recently, Ryerson recorded three assists in just 45 minutes against Mainz in the Bundesliga, bringing his total assists this season to 12, including 10 in the league, surpassing the total he recorded during ten years of his professional career.

The Norwegian defender's contract with Borussia Dortmund extends until 2028, and he is a regular key player, with his total playing minutes reaching a higher level than most of his teammates. Despite the European interest, the German club sees his sale as out of the question, emphasizing his importance and versatility in defense.

Ryerson joined Borussia Dortmund in 2023 from Union Berlin, becoming one of the most prominent names in the German team at present.
