Wilfried Mbappe, the father of French star Kylian Mbappe, spoke about the significant sacrifices that accompanied his son's journey to the top, emphasizing that reaching stardom with Real Madrid and the French national team was not a path lined with roses.

During his appearance on a program on "France Télévisions," Wilfried emphasized the human aspect that the audience doesn't see, saying: "I would like to focus on the sacrifices. People don't realize what it means for your son to leave home at the age of 12 or 13. I saw Kylian leave very early."

He added: "Now you see Mbappe as a complete player and they say he has become this or that, but there are many things we have lost and cannot compensate for."

He continued: "Which parent would accept their child leaving home at this age and not returning? This is what happened with us. His story was a beautiful project, but when I explain it to some parents, they can't understand it."
