The journalist Ahmed Shobeir revealed a surprise regarding his son Mostafa's contract with Al-Ahly and also spoke about the offers the player has received recently.

Ahmed Shobeir said on the "Al-Nazir" program on Al-Nahar channel: "The first and last time I talked about renewal details with Mostafa Shobeir, from the day my son appeared, I didn't know he went to Al-Ahly in the youth stage."

He added that Mostafa Shobeir signed his last contract with Amir Tawfik, the former director of contracts, noting that the value of his contract is the lowest within the team. He explained that the extension negotiations stalled during Khaled Bebo's tenure and then Mohamed Youssef's, confirming that the player did not receive any financial "compensation," and emphasizing the need to adhere to the signed contracts, away from this concept.

Ahmed Shobeir confirmed that his son, Mostafa, received three official offers to leave Al Ahly club, the most notable being an offer presented by his Spanish agent in an extended meeting with Mohamed Youssef that lasted three hours. However, the club's stance was decisive in rejecting the sale. He also confirmed receiving an official offer from the Saudi club Al-Kholood before the start of the current season, but Al Ahly's management completely closed the file, insisting on keeping the goalkeeper.

Ahmed Shobeir concluded his statements by saying: "In the last winter transfers, there was another loan offer for six months for a very large sum for the goalkeeper, and the response from Al Ahly was that Shobeir is not for loan or sale.
