Nottingham in the Whirlwind of Changes: Marinakis Prepares to Appoint the Fourth Coach This Season
Nottingham Forest Football Club has announced the dismissal of its coach Sean Dyche, after a short period of just 114 days since his appointment, following the team's goalless draw against Wolverhampton in the English Premier League.
The management clarified that the decision came as a result of the team not achieving the desired results despite the efforts made by the technical staff and players.
This marks the fourth dismissal for the club during the 2025–2026 season under the ownership of Greek billionaire Evangelos Marinakis, following the dismissals of both Nuno Espírito Santo and Ange Postecoglou, neither of whom lasted long in the position.
The club is now moving towards appointing a new coach, likely to be Portuguese manager Vítor Pereira, who has previously worked with major clubs and has experience dealing with English Premier League teams.
This change comes amid a difficult season for the team, as Nottingham Forest is in seventeenth place in the Premier League standings, just three points above the relegation zone, at a time when they are striving to maintain their chances in European competitions.
