Al-Ittihad Determines Kante's Replacement from Real Madrid
Thursday 12-02-2026
The management of Al-Ittihad Club in Jeddah has begun outlining its plan for the upcoming summer transfer market, immediately after the conclusion of the winter transfer window, in preparation for a new season with greater ambitions.

The federal administration has listed the name of Frenchman Eduardo Camavinga, the midfielder for Real Madrid, as one of the top targets to compensate for the departure of his compatriot N'Golo Kante, who moved to Turkish club Fenerbahçe.

The newspaper "Mundo Deportivo" mentioned that Al-Ittihad's interest in signing Camavinga is not a recent development, even though his contract with Real Madrid extends until 2029.

The newspaper indicated that the substantial financial incentives in the Saudi league might lead the French player to reconsider if an official offer is made in the coming period.

On the other hand, Camavinga does not currently prioritize the idea of moving to the Saudi league, as he has been focusing on securing a key position in the midfield since joining Real Madrid in 2021.

The name of the club has recently been associated with an attempt to sign the Egyptian Mohamed Salah, the Liverpool star, next summer to compensate for Karim Benzema's transfer to Al-Hilal Saudi Club.
