Jesus Brings Back Ronaldo and Al-Nassr's Key Trio Against Al-Fateh
The Portuguese Jorge Jesus, coach of the Saudi club Al-Nassr, intends to reinstate three key players into the lineup against Al-Fateh next Saturday, as part of the 22nd round of the Saudi Professional League.
The Saudi newspaper "Al-Youm" clarified that the trio Cristiano Ronaldo, Sultan Al-Ghannam, and Abdullah Al-Khaibari will return to Al-Nassr's starting lineup in the match against Al-Fateh.
Jesus decided to rest Ronaldo and Al-Ghannam in yesterday's match against Arkadag, as part of the first leg of the AFC Champions League Round of 16. Al-Khaibari participated as a substitute, and Al-Nassr managed to secure a 1-0 victory with a goal scored by Abdullah Al-Hamdan.
Cristiano Ronaldo returns to play against Al-Fateh after missing the matches against Al-Riyadh and Al-Ittihad in the past two rounds, due to his protest against the Public Investment Fund for not providing the club with sufficient support compared to other competing clubs, especially Al-Hilal.
