The management of the Spanish club Real Betis has finalized its position regarding the future of Moroccan international Sofyan Amrabat, having decided definitively not to activate the clause to purchase his contract from the Turkish club Fenerbahçe, according to the "Africa Foot" website.

Despite the performances delivered by the Moroccan midfielder during his loan period, which were praised by the technical staff of the Andalusian team, his journey in the Spanish league seems to be coming to an end with the conclusion of the current season.

The same source clarified that the decision was not related to technical aspects, but rather came as a result of financial and structural considerations, in light of the cautious economic policy adopted by the management of Real Betis.

He added that the total cost of the deal, along with the player's annual salary of 5 million euros, was considered a financial burden that could affect the club's balance, especially when taking the age factor into account within the internal evaluation criteria.

Therefore, Amrabat is expected to return to his club Fenerbahçe at the end of the season, awaiting the clarification of his next destination during the upcoming transfer window.
