Polish striker Robert Lewandowski delivered an emotional speech following his team's match against Real Betis, in his last appearance at Spotify Camp Nou, where he addressed a farewell message to Barcelona fans after announcing his departure from the club after four seasons.

The match witnessed emotional moments, as Lewandowski was carried on the shoulders by his teammates, and the players formed an honor guard for him, amidst clear emotion from the Polish striker who could not hold back his tears, while club president Joan Laporta presented him with a commemorative shield as he cried.

Robert Lewandowski said in his speech to the fans: 'From the first day, I felt in Barcelona and in this stadium as if I were at home.'

He added: 'Thank you very much for being here today, it is a very emotional day, it is very moving and difficult, when I came, I knew the club was big, but your love was something amazing.'

He continued: 'Thank you to my teammates, the coaches, and everyone working at the club.'

He went on to say: 'It was an honor for me to play in this club, and we have lived great moments during these four years.'

He added: 'I am very proud of what we have achieved together.'

He concluded his speech by saying: 'Today I bid you farewell, but I will always carry you in my heart, thank you very much, Visca Barça, and Visca Catalunya.'
