Duhok Club successfully secured the services of Al-Shorta striker Mohammed Dawood, coming from the ranks of the Green Harp, in a move aimed at enhancing the team's offensive capabilities before the upcoming commitments.

The deal was officially completed between the two parties and is set to be announced in the near future through the club's official channels, allowing the player to begin a new chapter in his career after eventful years with Al-Shorta.

Dawood is considered one of the names that left a clear mark with his former team, having defended Al-Shorta's colors for six consecutive seasons, during which he achieved many collective accomplishments, most notably winning the Iraqi Stars League title four times in a row, in addition to winning the Iraq Cup and the Super Cup, making him one of the elements that contributed to a golden era for the club.

After completing his transfer, the striker made sure to send an emotional farewell message to Al-Shorta fans, which he posted on his official Instagram account, expressing his great gratitude for the time he spent within the club's walls, affirming that his relationship with Al-Shorta will remain strong despite the end of his journey.

In his message, Dawood said: "6 seasons of successes, titles, and joy have ended today, but the love for this club and its fans will not end.
