The media personality Ahmed Shobeir criticized the departure of Omar Kamal Abdel Wahid from Al Ahly and the signing of Ahmed Eid.

Shobeir praised the technical abilities of the player Ahmed Eid during a radio broadcast, describing him as a distinguished player. However, at the same time, he raised a question about the wisdom of completing the deal to include Ahmed Eid and giving up the services of Omar Kamal Abdel Wahid.

He pointed out that despite Ahmed Eid's good abilities as an international player, Omar Kamal Abdel Wahed excels by delivering strong and consistent performances, in addition to his ability to fill gaps in more than one position, which gives him a relative advantage.

Shobeir emphasized the right of Al-Ahly's fans to understand the technical motivations behind these decisions, denouncing the idea of sacrificing a player of Omar Kamal's caliber to include Ahmed Eid, which has placed the management in the crosshairs of concerned fans' questions.
