The Saudi club Al-Ittihad officially announced the signing of striker George Elinokhna from the French club Monaco, as part of strengthening the team for the current sports season.

The federation published a statement on its official account on the "X" platform, welcoming the French player and describing him as the new talent who will join the squad in the upcoming phase.

The club did not officially disclose the financial details or the duration of the contract, but consistent press reports confirmed that Elinhna signed a three-and-a-half-year contract with the Jeddah team.

George Elenkhna is considered the third signing for Al-Ittihad during the winter transfer window, following the management's decision to end the loan of the duo Talal Haji and Farha Al-Shamrani with Al-Riyadh Club.

The deal is part of the club's plan to strengthen its squad with young players capable of making a difference, amidst local and continental competition during the remaining period of the season.

Al-Ittihad Club holds the sixth position in the Saudi Roshan League standings with 34 points and is striving to improve its position as the upcoming rounds progress.

The team had achieved an important victory over Al-Najma with a score of one to zero in the match that took place last Sunday as part of the twentieth round of the Saudi Professional League.
