The media personality Khaled Al-Ghandour stated that a source close to Tawfiq Mohamed, the Petrojet player, confirmed that there have been intensive negotiations recently from Pyramids Club to sign the player during the current winter transfer window.

Al-Ghandour added on the "Stad Al-Mahwar" program that Pyramids wanted to include Tawfiq Mohamed on loan, but Petrojet refused and wants to sell the player.

He added that negotiations are currently underway between Pyramids and Petrojet to finalize the deal as a permanent sale.

He continued: "Regarding Al Ahly's position, the source confirmed that the continued presence of Mohamed Shokry in the team hinders Tawfiq Mohamed's transfer to the Red Castle. If Shokry leaves the team, Tawfiq Mohamed will join Al Ahly."
