Manuel Pellegrini, the coach of Spanish club Real Betis, praised the progress shown by Moroccan international Abdessamad Ezzalzouli recently, both on an individual level and within the team's collective system.

During the press conference preceding the Valencia match, Pellegrini said: "Last season, Abde was one of the players who got opportunities, but he didn't make the most of them. That's when he realized the aspects he needed to improve."

The coach added: "Today, he has become our top scorer in the Europa League, and he is still a young player with a great margin for development, especially in decision-making and in the final meters of the field."

Pellegrini continued: "Zalzouli contributes a lot on the field and always strives to continuously improve his level."

He concluded his remarks by saying, "I am very happy with what he is offering, both for himself as a player and for the team as a whole."
