Bayern Munich coach Vincent Kompany appeared in a press conference following the 2-1 victory over Eindhoven in the final round of the Champions League group stage.

The coach said, "The match was expected to be tough; they are an offensive team with players capable of capitalizing on opportunities. The goal we conceded was the result of a fantastic shot and an exceptional play."

Kompany added: "I am pleased with our reaction afterwards, and very happy with the players' performance. Tom Bischoff performed well, and I think Lennart Carl played a very beautiful pass to Jamal Musiala, who finished the ball brilliantly. We have an excellent mix of experienced players who can handle the pressure and promising young talents."

On the performance of goalkeeper Jonas Urbig: "It's clear that he does a great job in the moments we need him, and perhaps when Manuel Neuer is unable to play. We have an excellent situation right now, as Manuel has a great relationship with Jonas, and it's clear that he is learning his craft from one of the best goalkeepers in the history of football."

Regarding the future of Leon Goretzka, who hinted in a press statement about the possibility of his departure: "We are always in close contact with the players, and nothing happens against their will. We are a cohesive team, consulting with each other on all matters. My current priority was the Eindhoven match, but I will later have a discussion with Max or Christoph to discuss the team's formation. The decision is not about my personal will, but about what is best for Goretzka, Bayern, and the entire team. I always have an opinion, but it depends on new information, and from tomorrow we can assess the situation fully. This is a natural part of the transfer period, regardless of the club."
