Portuguese coach Sérgio Conceição, the manager of Al-Ittihad Club, expressed his relative satisfaction following his team's 2-1 victory over Al-Okhdood in their match during the 18th round of the Saudi Professional League, emphasizing the importance of the win at this stage of the season.

Conceição explained during the press conference after the match that the team performed well in terms of control and creating opportunities, noting that the team had 19 shots on target, significantly more than the opponent. However, he pointed out that missing easy chances remains a real issue that requires a quick solution.

The Al-Ittihad coach addressed the transfer file, revealing that he informed the club's management of the deficiencies the team is suffering from. He discussed with them the necessary requirements to improve Al-Ittihad's standing in the league, as well as enhancing their chances in competing for the King's Cup final and advancing through the knockout stages of the Asian Champions League for the elite. He emphasized that the upcoming period may witness significant changes.

Conceição pointed out that the team is suffering from a lack of options, to the extent that they had to call up two goalkeepers to the substitutes' list, considering that winning under these circumstances is a credit to the players.

He also warned of the difficulty of the upcoming match against Al-Fateh, emphasizing that the latter has a relative advantage after having a longer rest before the anticipated Thursday meeting.
