Ahmed Yasser stated on his personal Facebook account: "The English club Crystal Palace has placed the distinguished player of the Egyptian club Al Ahly and the Egyptian national team, Yasser Ibrahim, among the team's interests to strengthen the defense line for competing in the English Premier League, in a significant deal for Egyptian football."
Yasser Ibrahim has recently shown outstanding performance and remarkable brilliance, especially during his participation with the Egyptian national team in the latest 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, where he stood out among the list of outstanding players in the tournament.
The Egyptian national team finished the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations in fourth place.
