Officials from Al Ahly club denied receiving any official offers to sign Marwan Attia, the first football team’s midfielder, from Qatari league clubs during the current winter transfer window, affirming their commitment to keeping the player with the team.

According to Al-Watan newspaper, Al-Ahli's management emphasized that they have not received any official communications from Qatari clubs or any other leagues, despite recent rumors about some clubs being interested in acquiring the player's services.

The newspaper indicated that Marwan Attia's agent contacted the officials of the Red Castle to inquire about the financial demands that might allow for the player's departure, given the interest from more than one club in submitting official offers, especially after his remarkable performance with the Egyptian national team in the Africa Cup of Nations.

Al-Ahly management clarified their refusal to engage in any discussions regarding the player's departure at the present time, due to the technical need for his services. They have promised his agent to financially appreciate the player during the current season as a reward for his outstanding performance and increasing contributions to the team in recent times.
