Youssef Belamri, the new Al-Ahly player, expressed his happiness in joining the Red Club, affirming that his main goal is to win all the championships with the club.

He praised the tremendous support from the fans since the announcement of the deal and the warm welcome from the players and the coaching staff.

Belamri revealed in statements to Al-Ahly's official website that he received several offers from clubs to transfer to them, but he wanted to join the club with a rich history and continental and local championships.

He added: "Engineer Khaled Mortagy, the club's treasurer, contacted him at the beginning of the negotiations and talked about Al Ahly's ambitions in the upcoming period and the desire to continue the journey of achievements, which he looks forward to achieving with the team. He pointed out that any player joining Al Ahly bears a great responsibility and must be worthy of the trust of the fans and management. He is accustomed to playing under significant fan pressure during his time with Raja Casablanca."

Youssef Belamri pointed out the role of his compatriot Achraf Bencharki in helping him adapt to the team as quickly as possible.

He emphasized that his main goal is to win all the championships with Al Ahly, whether domestically or continentally, in order to bring joy to the fans.
