The newspaper "Al-Youm Al-Sabea" revealed Al Ahly's desire to keep the player Karim Fouad as part of the team in the upcoming period.
The newspaper stated that Al-Ahly asked the player to forget the idea of leaving during the current winter transfer window.
Karim Fouad was among the names considered for leaving Al Ahly in a swap deal to acquire the services of Marwan Osman "Utaka" from Ceramica Cleopatra. However, an alternative agreement was reached, which involved the transfer of the young player Mohamed Abdullah and Omar Kamal Abdel Wahed instead.
Al Ahly is preparing to face Wadi Degla next Tuesday as part of the 16th round of the Egyptian Premier League.
