The journalist Ahmed Hassan revealed that Yis Torop, the coach of Al-Ahly, is keen on keeping Ahmed Nabil Kouka in the red team's squad and not letting him leave.
Hassan stated on Facebook: "An informed source confirmed that Torop told Ahmed Nabil Kouka that he is number 1 in his plans for the left-back position, despite signing Youssef Belamri and refusing his departure to play professionally in the Portuguese league."
Al Ahly will face Wadi Degla next Tuesday in the 16th round of the Egyptian Premier League.
Al Ahly currently holds the third position in the league standings with 23 points.
