Torop: We Aim to Continue the Victories Achieved Before the Break
The Danish coach of Al-Ahly, Jess Thorup, confirmed that his team is well-prepared to face Young Africans tomorrow in the African Champions League.
Al Ahly will face Tanzania's Young Africans tomorrow, Friday, in the third round of the group stage of the CAF Champions League.
In the press conference before the match, Torop said: "We are preparing well for the match, especially since the past period saw the absence of international players, and we relied on young talents during that time."
He confirmed: "We have a strong match against a tough opponent with the same points tally, and we aim to give our best. The Al Ahly players have trained hard and we have prepared well for this encounter."
Torop indicated that he is fully focused on achieving victory against Young Africans, especially with the presence of several new signings on the match roster.
He added, "We have international players who had commitments to their national teams, which is something we accept and deal with as a reality. We strive to continue the victories we achieved before the long break."
