Real Madrid defender Dani Hausen appeared in a press statement after the 6-1 victory over Monaco in the seventh round of the Champions League group stage, held at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium.

The Spanish defender said: "We are very happy with the win; we played excellently as a team and showed positive signs. This victory was crucial for us. We regained the ball and scored from counterattacks. Excellent, let's keep working."

He added about Mbappé and Vinícius' goals: "They are important players for us; we know we were going through a tough period. It's important for us that they score, we are happy."

He emphasized: "I think I finally feel better. I was playing partially injured for two or three months; I couldn't run fast enough. I'm happy to feel better. My performance wasn't at its best, and I think I showed that today. Injuries are not comfortable; they are tough. I've never been injured before; it was a new experience for me. I would recover, then the injury would recur repeatedly. I can say that I'm fine now. We'll move forward, and things will improve."

He concluded regarding the injury problems in the defense line: "We have faced some bad luck with injuries in the defense. For me, it's not difficult to play with any of them; they are all great players, and we understand each other."
