Player Hamza Abdel Karim continued to participate with Al Ahly Club while awaiting the resolution of his professional future, amid uncertainty surrounding the possibility of his transfer to Spanish club Barcelona in the near future, according to the newspaper Sport.

The newspaper pointed out that although the deal has not been officially declared a failure, the latest developments confirm that the Egyptian striker will not even join Barcelona's second team, which reduces the chances of completing his transfer to the Catalan club at this time.

Sport newspaper added that Abdel Karim participated in the last six matches with Al Ahly in the League Cup, but he did not manage to score any goals, which they considered an indicator that does not bode well for the recent improvement of his performance.
