The Barcelona Legends team achieved a victory over their Real Madrid counterparts with a score of 2-1, in an exhibition match held in Mexico, thanks to two goals scored by Argentine Javier Saviola.

The match saw the participation of several former Barcelona stars, most notably Xavi Hernandez, Puyol, and Sergi Barjuan, in a confrontation that included prominent names from Real Madrid such as Luis Figo and Casillas.

The match was held 100 days before the start of the World Cup, during which the Akron Stadium in Guadalajara will host playoff matches at the end of this month, along with four other matches.

Although the pace of play was moderate to relatively slow due to the advanced ages of the players, the large crowd enthusiastically interacted with the stars of both teams, especially with the appearance of Rafael Marquez, who received special appreciation from the Mexican fans.
