Borussia Dortmund secured an exciting 3-2 victory over visiting St. Pauli in the match held at Signal Iduna Park as part of the 18th round of the German Bundesliga.

Dortmund opened the scoring in the 45+1 minute through Julian Brandt, before Karim Adeyemi added the second goal in the 54th minute, giving his team a clear advantage at the start of the second half.

St. Pauli reduced the gap in the 62nd minute through James Sands, then equalized thanks to Ricky Jade Jones in the 73rd minute, bringing the match back to square one.

In the dying moments, Emre Can sealed the match in favor of Borussia Dortmund by scoring the third goal in the 90+6th minute from a penalty kick, snatching all three points for his team in the final moments.

With this victory, Borussia Dortmund increased their total to 39 points, securing second place in the Bundesliga standings, while St. Pauli's total remained at 12 points, keeping them in eighteenth place.
