Borussia Dortmund, the German club, continues its activities in the transfer market to sign the talent of the Brazilian club Cruzeiro, the young player Kauã Brates, according to journalist Samuel Financio.

According to the same source, Dortmund has submitted an initial offer worth about 8 million euros, but Cruzeiro's management still aims to obtain a higher financial return in order to agree to sell the player in the upcoming period.

Kauã Brates is 17 years old, plays as a left-back, and is considered one of the most prominent rising talents in Brazilian football, despite his limited experience at the first-team level, which makes the negotiations proceed cautiously between the two parties.

The report pointed out that the short professional period of the player may prevent the deal value from reaching 15 million euros, despite the great interest he enjoys from the German club and the scouts' confidence in his technical abilities.

In the same context, journalist Samuel Financio confirmed that Cruzeiro insists on including a clause granting it a percentage of the future resale value ranging between 20% and 30%, as an essential part of any potential agreement to complete the deal.
