The statements from the Beşiktaş president came in response to press reports indicating Al Ahly's interest in signing Rafa Silva, who is skilled at playing both as an attacking midfielder and a winger.

Adali confirmed, according to what was reported by the Saudi newspaper "Okaz," that his club has not received any official offer from Al-Ahli or any other Saudi club regarding the signing of the Portuguese player.

The president of Beşiktaş clarified that the talk about Rafa Silva transferring on a free transfer is incorrect, emphasizing the difficulty of agreeing to let the player leave for free under any circumstances.

Adali pointed out that the rumors about Rafa Silva wanting to terminate his contract to move to Al-Ahli are completely unfounded, affirming the club's commitment to its contractual rights.

Rafa Silva joined Beşiktaş in the summer of 2023, coming from Portuguese club Benfica, on a contract lasting until June 2027, with an estimated market value of around 5 million euros.

Rafa Silva played 65 matches for Beşiktaş across various competitions, during which he scored 23 goals and provided 16 assists, becoming one of the team's key players.
