Exciting Details Behind the Delay of Hawsawi's Deal to Al Hilal
Thursday 15-01-2026
The management of Al Hilal Club, headed by Prince Nawaf bin Saad, is continuing to finalize the contract procedures with international player Murad Hawsawi, who currently plays for Al Khaleej Club, during the ongoing winter transfer window.

Abdullah Al-Hunayan, a journalist with "Al-Riyadiyah" newspaper, reported that the delay in the deal is due to the scheduling of financial payments and their due dates, which has slowed down the signing of the official contract between the two parties.

The source added that the announcement of Hawsawi's transfer to Al-Hilal is now very close, after resolving all the financial and procedural obstacles that were hindering the deal, including Ohod Club's share of the transfer fee.

It was agreed that Al-Khaleej Club would receive the full amount of the deal, totaling 30 million riyals, with 12 million riyals allocated to Ohod Club as their share according to previous agreements.

The player's new contract includes a duration ranging from 3 to 5 seasons, with an annual salary of 5 million riyals, according to the Saudi newspaper "Asharq Al-Awsat."

Al Hilal is expected to officially announce the deal in the coming days, after finalizing all the financial and administrative details related to Murad Hawsawi's transfer from Al Khaleej to the blue team.
