The Brazilian coach Prikles Chamuska, head coach of the Al-Taawoun team, directed sharp criticism at the refereeing crew of his team's match against Al-Ahli Jeddah, which took place on Wednesday evening as part of the fifteenth round of the Saudi Pro League, ending with Al-Taawoun's 2-1 loss.

Chamusca said during the press conference after the match: "I have been in Saudi Arabia for eight years, and this is the second match that has been taken away from us. Dealing with refereeing errors has become like a normal matter," expressing his frustration with the refereeing decisions that he believed directly affected the outcome of the match.

The Al-Taawoun coach added: "In the penalty kick, Merih Demiral, Al-Ahli's defender, deserved a yellow card. Also, Al-Taawoun does not have the same budgets compared to the big clubs, and this reflects on our competitiveness on the field."

Chamusca concluded his statements by emphasizing his team's struggles with local refereeing, saying: "The big clubs bring in foreign referees, while our team is always disadvantaged by local refereeing, and we don't have the budget to bring in foreign referees." It is worth noting that the match was held at the Al-Inma Stadium in King Abdullah Sports City and saw Al-Ahli win with a score of two goals to one.
