The management of Al-Taawoun Club is close to finalizing an agreement with Serbian coach Vladan Milojević to take over the technical leadership of the first football team, according to a special source for the "Al-Riyadiyah" newspaper.

According to the same source, negotiations between the two parties have reached advanced stages, with fundamental understandings reached regarding the contract terms, to replace the Brazilian Pericles Chamusca.

This potential agreement brings Milojevic back to the Saudi football scene once again, having previously coached Al-Ahli in 2020, and later led the Al-Ettifaq team in the professional league.

The Serbian coach had taken charge of the Red Star Belgrade team during the last season and delivered mixed results in the local league before his stint there ended.

Milović coached 19 matches with Red Star, achieving 13 victories, 3 draws, and 3 losses, before being dismissed from his position.

The coach has a long managerial career spanning over 560 matches, during which he achieved 336 wins, alongside 102 draws and 122 losses, with 1031 goals scored and 542 conceded.

In the Saudi league, he oversaw 48 matches with Al-Ahli and Al-Ettifaq, winning 19, drawing 10, and losing 19 matches, reflecting his previous experience in Saudi football.
